What changed
Google’s October 13 update says skills have begun rolling out in the Gemini app, while the Workspace rollout is delayed. Skills package reusable instructions. App and Workspace skills currently do not sync automatically.
Why it matters
Our take: repetition is the useful starting point. Keep a short instruction for a task you already understand—for example, turning rough notes into a consistent checklist. Test whether it preserves facts and flags gaps before relying on it.
